This program offers matched savings for low- and moderate-income households that are saving to purchase their first home, develop a small business or continue their post-secondary education.
Funding for this program comes from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services-Assets for Independence Act and from a generous donation from Wells Fargo Bank.
Eligible participants save towards the purchase of their selected asset in a special custodial account opened by the Collaborative at Wells Fargo Bank. Savings of up to $2,000 may be matched with two dollars for every one dollar saved up to $2,000. (Save $2,000, receive $4,000 matching grant funds)
