
Ms. Guillen has over 30 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations, 20 of which were in the community development field. She has more than 7 years experience in banking. Ms. Guillen has successfully completed several CDFI-related training courses including: beginning a community development loan fund, portfolio analysis; and financial projections. She has been certified as both a Consumer Credit and Housing Counselor. Ms. Guillen is primarily responsible for resource development for the corporation and grant management. Ms. Guillen performs several functions for the loan fund including: submitting grant and loan requests for loan capital and operations, portfolio review, member of the internal loan review committee (loans up to $5,000). She also prepares deposits, makes inter-bank transfers, and assists the ED with the corporation’s investments and overall portfolio management.
